Case alleging fraudulent preparation/use of deeds and sale/transfer activity involving State land in the Kiribathgoda area.
What’s happened
Indictments served 27 Feb 2026 and again reported served by the Attorney General on 15 Jul 2026; no report of the 27 Mar 2026 hearing or of a later next date has been found.
The Attorney General served indictments on the six accused (including Mervyn Silva and Prasanna Ranaweera) before Gampaha High Court Judge Nayana Seneviratne; Senior State Counsel Samadari Piyasena presented them. The reports do not say why this followed the 27 February 2026 service, and no next date was reported.
