nadu.lk Tracking publicly reported legal proceedings involving Sri Lankan politicians.
Public record · without spin
nadu.lk is an independent public-record project compiling publicly available information about legal proceedings involving Sri Lankan politicians.
Arrests, investigations, allegations and remand orders do not establish guilt. Legal status may change through bail, appeal, acquittal, dismissal or other court orders.
About+ nadu.lk is an independent, unofficial reference for keeping track of Sri Lankan politicians who have been investigated, arrested, remanded, charged, tried, convicted, acquitted, or who have cases otherwise working through the courts. It exists so you can understand a case in about ten seconds instead of piecing it together from a dozen news articles.
Methodology+ Cases are compiled from publicly available sources including court reporting, CIABOC publications, government records and established news organisations. We distinguish between investigations, charges, remand, convictions, appeals, acquittals and dismissed cases, and we say so plainly when a detail is disputed, stale or could not be independently confirmed.

Sources+ Every legal matter on this site links out to the original reporting or record it was drawn from — court reporting, CIABOC releases, and outlets such as Daily Mirror, Ada Derana, Colombo Gazette, The Morning, Reuters and others. Open any case file and expand “Sources” under a legal matter to see exactly where a detail came from.
Corrections+ Court records move, reporting changes, names get transliterated three different ways, and sometimes two outlets disagree on the same sentence. If you spot an error or have a stronger source, send it in.
Report a correctionBuilt for people who got tired of asking, “wait, what happened to that case?”
