What happened?

The bench of Justices Rohantha Abeysuriya, Chamath Morais and Adithya Patabendige dismissed in limine the writ petition by which Jayaweera sought to invalidate the Colombo Fort Magistrate's contempt finding and referral. What changed?

The reserved order has been delivered against him. It is not a contempt finding by the Court of Appeal: no conviction, sentence or custody order has been reported.
