Alleged obstruction of, and criminal intimidation toward, traffic police officers who stopped his vehicle (reportedly fitted with unauthorised VIP lights) at Galwala Junction, Rambewa, Anuradhapura, on the night of 20 January 2025, while Archchuna was travelling to Colombo for a parliamentary sitting. Reported under Section 183/344 of the Penal Code and the Motor Traffic Act.
