Terrorism Investigation Division referral over alleged LTTE-promotion remarks
The Inspector General of Police reportedly directed the Terrorism Investigation Division to investigate a complaint alleging that remarks made by Archchuna at an SLPP rally in Anuradhapura on 12 September 2026 promoted or supported the proscribed LTTE.
